Dear representatives of mass media,
Ladies and Gentlemen,

There is every reason to say that the Dushanbe summit of the CIS was not only efficient but also very important in terms of discussing the prospects of further development and strengthening the capacity of our Organization.

We discussed the results of the Commonwealth for 20 years and the key task for the future. Adoption of the Statement of Heads of States Parties is the result of a free and constructive exchange of views on the journey and creates the conditions that allow the manifest benefits of integration, especially in trade and economic sphere.

One such condition was reduced to the need to seriously improve the quality of integration mechanisms - both national segment, and international. In this context, special significance was the question on the implementation of the Plan of basic measures to implement the concept of further development of the Commonwealth, adopted here in the city of Dushanbe, 4 years ago.

Need to come to a common understanding on the legal status of decisions of the CIS states enforce their obligations, as well as monitoring their implementation.

The priority today is recognized as economic cooperation. For a full economic and trade cooperation is a prerequisite for sustainable development in the Commonwealth.

Today, it is obvious need to complete the formation of a free trade zone.

It is gratifying that in recent documents of the CIS and in the practice of paid attention to the modernization of national economies.
In the context of high expectations at home and in the CIS countries are assigned to the project interstate targeted program of innovative cooperation of CIS member states in 2020.

The Republic of Tajikistan signed the Decision of the Council of CIS Heads of State on all matters on the agenda. We attach great importance to the cooperation of States Parties in combating illegal migration for 2012-2014 and adopted this document multilateral cooperation in combating terrorism and other violent manifestations of extremism.

There are - agreements on cooperation in logistics and training anti-terrorist units in educational institutions of the competent authorities of the Commonwealth.
In this series and an agreement on organizing activities within the framework of the united air defense system of CIS countries in obtaining information about the seizure or hijacking of aircraft.

During the meeting, heads of state were unanimous on the question of the adoption and implementation of the Agreement to perpetuate the memory of the courage and heroism of the peoples of the participants in the Great Patriotic War during 1941-1945 periods.

Thus, we can conclude that the new made the necessary steps forward in terms of a clear understanding of future action and to identify concrete ways and means of practical application of collective integration mechanisms.

At the meeting it was decided to transfer the presidency in 2012, Turkmenistan. Congratulating his Turkmen friends with this decision, we wish them great success in promoting integration within the Commonwealth. (Translated by D.Azizov)
