Emomali Rahmon sent congratulatory telegram to Mahmud Ahmadinejad

Dushanbe, February 14. (NIAT “Khovar”).- On February 11, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon sent congratulatory telegram to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmud Ahmadinejad, in which it is particularly said:
“Your Excellency! I sincerely congratulate you and friendly nation of Iran with anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
The Government and nation of Tajikistan always consider active and multifaceted ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran very important and valuable.
Historical, cultural, linguistic, ancestral and religious relationships are among the most important factors, which unite Tajikistan and Iran in a cultural space and organize necessary foundation for more integration.
On the basis of fruitful and broad economic relations for the last ten years common volume of goods turnover between Tajikistan and Iran has increased for five times more and investment of Iran in economy of Tajikistan also has significantly increased.
In this context your official visit to Tajikistan at the beginning of September 2011 and new agreements signed during your visit, indicate about the new stage of development of broad relations between our countries.
