The perspectives of Tajik-Belarusian cooperation had been discussed in Minsk

Moscow, January31. (NIAT “Khovar”).- The meeting of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Belorussia Q.Qoimdodov with the Co-Chairman of the Belarusian part of Interstate Tajik-Belarusian commission for the issues of trade-economic cooperation, Ministry of agriculture and production of the Belarusian Republic M. Rusiy was held at the initiative of Tajikistan Embassy in Belorussia at Ministry of agriculture and production of Belorussia ,on January 26.
In the course of the talks the sides have discussed the duties, decreed by the Presidents of two countries during the official visit of the Belarusian President in Dushanbe, on October, 2011, as well as the perspectives of bilateral cooperation in sphere of agricultural complex.
During the meeting Ambassador has expressed appreciation to the Belarusian President for political support of the construction of hydro power stations in Tajikistan, in particular the construction of “Roghun” power station.
The sides are unanimous in their opinion, in spite of the raising the level of good’s turnover which has increased in 5 more, there is a great potential to increase in full.
The issues of the establishment of joint enterprises for the agricultural technical production and the assembly of tractors processing of agricultural and another product-cotton, wool, skin, vegetables and fruits, exchange on experience and training specialists of agriculture in middle special and high schools and colleges in Belorussia were discussed during the Tajik-Belarusian meeting. The sides have considered the process of implementation of the situation of seventh Protocol of a meeting for interstate commission for issues of trade-economic cooperation.
Two diplomats have expressed their opinions about the meetings’
appropriating in working groups of sides in the first half of the 2012, and next 8th meeting of interstate commission on the second part of 2012 in Dushanbe city, according to the European part of Commonwealth Independent States in the Embassy of Tajikistan in Belorussia. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
