Bilateral cooperation between RT and WB

Dushanbe, February 15. (NIAT “Khovar”).- On February 14, a range of bilateral cooperation issues between Tajikistan and World Bank (WB) has been discussed at the meeting of Tajik Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov and Head of the WB for strategies and operations in Europe and Central Asia Theodor Alers and regional director of WB in Cetral Asia Saraj Kumar Ja.
Oqilov noted that currently by WB a number of projects in Tajikistan in sphere of agriculture, energy, irrigation, education, health and state sector are realized.
In spite of the fact that the process of interaction between Tajikistan and WB is at a good level, however in this direction there are many untapped resources and opportunities,- stressed Prime-Minister.
During the meeting was expressed confidence, that the process of realization of projects by WB in Tajikistan will be accelerated and in the framework of bilateral cooperation priority fields will be covered. (Translated by M.Ismatova)
