CONFERENCE ON ELIMINATION OF MALARIA WILL BE HELD IN KHUJAND

Dushanbe, August 3. (NIAT "Khovar", P.Nazarov). - Regional Scientific Conference on elimination of malaria will be held from 5 to 6 August in Khujand city, with the financial support of the UNDP HIV / AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria in Tajikistan, in collaboration with WHO and by the Ministry of Health.

As NIAT "Khovar" correspondent has learned from the representation of the UNDP HIV / AIDS in Tajikistan, the conference is aimed to analyze the experiences of countries to combat malaria and progress in this area, discussing the next steps to achieve the elimination of malaria, and the development of partnership between international organizations, civil society, media, scientific - research institutions and countries to develop and implement a comprehensive science-based program for malaria elimination.

The conference attended by representatives of the sanitary-epidemiological services, experts centers on Tropical Diseases of the leading research institutions in Central Asia, Caucasus, Europe and Afghanistan.
